How to Learn About Individual Courses

Clicking on a course will take you to a very detailed description of the course, as seen below.

IMPORTANT: Curium and Philips both use Echelon as their provider of CE courses.

Be sure to make the course you are taking is not also a course that you’ve already taken on Curium’s platform.

As noted in the above image, don’t use your browser’s back button when navigating Philips.

It will take you places you don’t want to go. Use the Philips back button instead.

How to Set Up an Account

Go to the Learning Center Homepage and click “Register Now”:

Follow the prompts from there to finish setting up your account.

How to Take a Course:

Go to a course description page and click “Add to Cart”:

Then check out using your credit card

You’ll go to your shopping cart:

Click “Go to Checkout” and you’ll go here:

Click “Purchase” and go here:

Choose your course and go to the course. It’ll look like the below image. Click as indicated to launch the course.

Now you come to the below screen.

  1. Click “Click to enable Adobe Flash Player”
  2. Click “Launch Course”
  3. DON’T click “Install Now”

Then Click This

Click This

You’ll get a message like the below, click “Allow”.

Now click “view course >>” as below

Go through all the content in the left hand pane & do all of the “ACTIVITIES”. (These are quizzes)

Once all those folders are open & you’ve passed the quizzes, you can take the test.

Tip for Taking the Test:

Above you might notice that I got the exact same content as in the Curium course.

Be careful with this, both courses are provided ultimately by Echelon, and they are the same courses, you can’t get credit for both courses, just because you took one on Echelon through Curium, and one on Echelon through Philips.

Now, take the Assessment Test:

I would recommend setting up two browser tabs open, 1 for the test, one for the Transcript (the course in written form, in a searchable PDF).

Like below:

Once you pass the test, you’ve got to evaluate the course:

Then you get your certificate!

Jim McGee BA BS CNMT ARRT(N)(R)
Jim has been the Technical Director of an IAC Nuclear/PET nuclear cardiology lab for the last 11 years.

He originally developed the NucReporter to keep his own lab's reports 100% ICANL compliant. But his interpreting physicians liked it so much, they encouraged him to commercialize it.

Realizing that the NucReporter could make other Cardiologists' & CNMTs' lives a LOT BETTER, he decided to perfect it & sell it.

Jim's vision is a world where Cardiologists breeze through reports & go home earlier, nobody worries about ICANL report compliance or report deficiencies, and all SPECT/PET MPI reports are complete, concise & crystal-clear.

What has your experience been with this CE provider? Do you have any tips, recommendations or warnings?
